Vein911® Vein Treatment Centers announced that its Medical Director and CEO, Christopher Pittman, M.D., addressed an international audience of vein care experts on the benefits of static pneumatic gradient compression therapy devices for ankle swelling, leg swelling, and ulcers at the International Union of Phlebology (UIP) 2018 World Congress of Phlebology in Melbourne, Australia.

The UIP World Congress featured presentations from internationally known varicose vein disease experts with a focus on new vein care technologies, innovations, and international practice guidelines for venous and lymphatic disease. Phlebology is the practice of venous and lymphatic medicine, a multi-disciplinary field that includes vascular disease, poor circulation, vascular anomalies, interventional radiology, ultrasound, lymphology, dermatology, hematology, thrombosis, hemostasis, fluid mechanics, and wound healing.
