Dr. Arian Moshref is a fellowship-trained Venous and Lymphatic Medicine specialist. Originally from Tennessee, Dr. Moshref attended medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Atlanta, GA where he was president of the Student Surgical Association. After medical school and residency training, he moved to Tampa and began practicing hospital medicine. He was always fascinated by the body’s venous system and his desire for learning led him to the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, where he completed fellowship training in Venous and Lymphatic Medicine and was on staff as an adjunct professor of medicine. This was one of only five fellowship programs in the country accredited by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. After completing fellowship, he returned to Tampa with the goal of providing premier, individualized vein and leg care to patients using the latest in state-of-the-art medical treatments. Dr. Moshref is unique in that he specializes solely in venous and lymphatic disorders, including varicose veins, spider veins, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), venous stasis/leg ulcers, lymphedema, lipedema and more. He has trained extensively in venous treatment and performs multiple interventional procedures, including Ultrasound Guided Foam Sclerotherapy, Radiofrequency Ablation, Endovenous Laser Treatment, VenaSeal and Varithena. Whether it is simply the bothersome appearance of a vein or the presence of associated painful symptoms, Dr. Moshref believes it is important to educate patients to ensure they completely understand the diagnosis as well as the treatment process. Having been published in multiple medical journals, Dr. Moshref enjoys research and has presented at various medical conferences. He is a member of numerous medical societies, including the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine, American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, American Medical Association and American Osteopathic Association. He frequently gives lectures and routinely attends medical conferences, staying up to date with the latest in treatment techniques. As a former college athlete, Dr. Moshref likes to stay active when not at work. He enjoys the Florida outdoors, traveling and spending time with family, friends, and his dog Niko.
