David King, CFO

Mr. King is a certified public accountant and an attorney and has more than 25 years of professional experience working in various industries including software as a service (SaaS), data as a service (DaaS), geospatial information systems, healthcare, and financial services. His areas of expertise include business formation and liquidation, mergers and acquisitions, equity capital and commercial debt structuring, private securities offerings, state and federal taxation, financial reporting, and healthcare regulation. In addition, he has worked with entrepreneurial and growth-stage businesses to build the infrastructure and processes enabling scalable growth. He has assisted founding entrepreneurs raise capital, recruit and develop talent, and achieve successful exits from their businesses. Mr. King’s professional career includes auditing experience at Ernst & Young, LLP, commercial banking at AmSouth Bank (now Regions Bank), business transactional law practice at Farris Bobango, PLC, and executive management experience as CFO and General Counsel with several companies. Mr. King holds bachelor’s (cum laude) and master’s degrees in professional accountancy from the Richard C. Adkerson School of Accountancy at Mississippi State University and a juris doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law. He is admitted to the state bars of Mississippi, Tennessee, and Colorado and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Mississippi, Tennessee, and Colorado Bar Associations.
