I’m Sandra Diaz. I taught school for 30 years, and then I retired. And I just missed just being in the schools, so I’ve been substituting at two schools in South Tampa. And I was fortunate enough to meet Karen Pittman. She has children at the school where I was substituting. And we just an instant friendship, it clicked. We just clicked, our personalities. And I knew her husband was a doctor, but I never really asked what type of doctor. So, about 10 years ago, being a teacher and being on my feet, burning sensations, varicose veins, spider veins. I had it done years ago and I thought I was happy with it. And of course they came back, which I expected. So I was starting to look around and I happened to mention that to Karen, and she said her husband Chris was now doing that type of, you know, working in that area.
So, that’s how it started and I loved her. I loved her children. And I came here and he’s wonderful. I guess being raised in Tampa and having doctors as friends in our family, he just has that bedside manner that I’m used to. You know, he takes time with you. He talks to you. He tells you what he’s going to do. So, every step of the way ,you know what to expect. And he tells you the good for the bad, you know, you’re going to get bruised. You’re going to get, you know, turned, all of that. And it all happened, and I mean, I can’t believe it. It’s like I’m free. You know, I wouldn’t wear shorts until I got a tan. I wouldn’t wear knee-length sundresses. I just had this horrible hangup all my life. And I look at my legs now and there is no blue. I can’t believe it. I can’t believe it. And, he’s just wonderful. I would highly recommend him. I have highly recommended him. I have two friends that are gonna be making an appointment soon.
