Warren S Krackov, MD, FSIR, MA, MSHA, CPE
Dr. Warren Krackov is a board-certified Radiologist with a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Interventional Radiology and he is also a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology (FSIR). He has over 15 years of experience performing minimally invasive image guided procedures in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, with ten years of experience in outpatient centers, and having performed well over 10,000 procedures in this environment.
Dr. Krackov graduated from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington DC and trained at Tufts University and Mass General Hospital/Harvard University in Boston. He was later appointed to the faculty of both Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine. He also obtained a Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MSHA) from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), where he is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of healthcare administration and interprofessional leadership.
Dr. Krackov earned the Certified Physician Executive credential from the Americal Association for Physician Leadership and has a Master’s degree in English from Georgetown University. He maintains numerous medical writing and editing roles and is also host of the Society of Interventional Radiology podcast, The Kinked Wire.
He is thrilled to be a vein care specialist on our state-of-the art vein care team and serves as our organization’s Chief Compliance Officer. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing the guitar, and playing ice hockey in sunny Tampa.
